Hi, I’m Youngjin (Luke) Kim, a first-year Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, advised by Professor Sungkyu Lim.

My research focuses on physical design and electronic design automation (EDA) for advanced packaging technologies, including:

  • Physical design and optimization for 2.5D/3D integrated circuits
  • Signal and power integrity for 2.5D/3D ICs
  • Machine learning for EDA
  • GPU-accelerated EDA algorithms

Before joining USC, I received my Bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University in Korea.
